About the event
Daybreak Oneness offers Introduction to Buddhism classes for those with no experience in Buddhist practice who are looking for a starting point. These classes are the original foundation as to why Daybreak was started - because in our western culture it can be difficult for that are interested in learning about Buddhism to know where to begin.
Our classes are taught in a casual and interactive style with no grading or formal assignments. All classes are currently held online using Zoom so anyone can attend regardless of location. Closed captioning is available for the hearing impaired. We introduce the Dharma (Buddhist teachings) from a non-sectarian / all-sectarian approach. There is no requirement to "become a Buddhist". In fact, many individuals from other spiritual traditions find value and compatibility in the Buddha's teachings. All are welcome . . . "come as you are."
This class will be held as a 3 week class starting on Tues Sept 13th, 2022 at 8PM ET / 7PM CT / 6PM MT / 5PM PT. Each class will be approx 60-90 mins and will be held at the same time each week for 3 weeks (9/13, 9/20 & 9/27):
